Event Related

  1. When will the event be held? How many race categories are there?
    The event will be held on 1 October 2023 (Sunday), please refer to the Event Information or more details.
  2. Are all races entitled to have awards?
    Apart from the 1.01 Fun Run/Walk, all other races will be entitled to have different awards. Please refer to Race Awards for more information.
  3. Is it okay for infants to participate?
    You are welcome to take the infants to join the 1.01km non-timed Fun Run/Walk. However, please note that stroller is not allowed to enter the track, you may use the baggage deposit service provided by the organizer on the event day.

Enrollment Related

  1. How much is the enrollment fee?
    The minimum fundraising amount for Individual, Family (2-3 members), Family (4-6 members) and Corporate & Organization are HK$280, HK$680, HK$1,280 and HK$2,880, respectively. Please refer to the Event Information for more information.
  2. How to count the age of participant?
    The age of participant is counted based on the year of birth, regardless of the month and date. For example, for someone born in 31 Dec 2005, the age is counted as 2023 – 2005 (year of birth) = 18 (participant’s age).
  3. What payment method are accepted?
    We accept MasterCard, Visa, American Express and Union Pay credit cards. Participants need to complete the transaction and the entire enrollment process online. For Corporates, please contact Lok Sin Tong Corporate Resource Development Department by [email protected] or 2272 9808 to complete the enrollment process and submit enrollment fee.
  4. How to make sure my application is successful?
    The organizer will send a confirmation email and the arrangement of receiving the runner’s pack within 3 working days to participants who successfully donated and enrolled.
  5. If I am unable to participate in the event due to various reasons after enrollment, can I apply for a refund or transfer my quota to my friends?
    Once the enrollment is confirmed, the organizer will not accept any refund and quota transfers.
  6. Can I register as a runner on the event day?
    No on-site registration will be accepted on the event day.
  7. If the event cannot be held as scheduled, will it be rescheduled/will I get refunded?
    The funds raised from this event will be used to support medical, educational, elderly care, and social welfare services of Lok Sin Tong. If the event has to be cancelled for any reasons, no refund or reschedule will be arranged by the organizer.
  8. Will I get an official receipt for tax deduction after donation?
    Participants who donate HK$100 or above (each donation) will receive an official receipt for tax deduction in Hong Kong. The organizer will send an official receipt by email within one month after the event ends.

Runner’s Pack Pick Up Arrangement

  1. When and where can I pick up the runner’s pack?
    Participants are required to show the confirmation email and the Hong Kong Identity card/passport, in order to redeem your runner’s pack.
    • Date: 23rd to 24th September 2023
    • Time: 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.
    • Venue: Kowloon City District Office – 7/F, Kowloon City Government Offices, 42 Bailey Street, Hung Hom, Kowloon
    • *Runners’ packs of Family team will be picked up by the main contact person.
    • *Runners’ packs of Corporate & Organization team will be delivered to the registered address.
  1. May I authorize a representative to pick up the runner’s pack for me?
    Please provide the following documents for your representative to pick up at the designated period and location:
    • Copy of confirmation email
    • Authorization letter
    • Copy of the Hong Kong Identity card/passport of the participant
  1. May I use mailing service to pick up the runner’s pack?
    To avoid mailing failure or loss of package, we will not mail runner’s pack to participants.
  2. May I change the size of the event T-Shirt?
    Once participants choose their T-Shirt size during registration, no exchange on sizes will be allowed.

Event Day

  1. If I forgot to bring the runner’s bib, can I still participate in the race?
    Any participants who do not have an official runner’s bib will not be allowed to join.
  2. If any of my teammate(s) from Family/Corporate & Organization Team are unable to participate in the event due to various reasons, can I still compete in the race?
    Yes, you’re still allowed to compete in the race. After finishing the race, you are still entitled to receive the finisher medal and electronic Certificate of Completion.
  3. What should I wear on the event day?
    Participants should wear proper sportswear and sports shoes. Please be reminded to pin and attach the bib (with timing chip) to the front of your T-Shirt, so that our staff will be able to identify you. We highly encourage all participants to wear our official event T-Shirt that we distributed in the runner’s pack in boosting the event vibes.
  4. Will baggage deposit service be provided on the event day?
    The organizer will provide baggage deposit service on the event day. Please do not deposit valuable items, the organizer will not be responsible for any losses or damages of the baggage.
  5. Do I need to report to the staff upon arrival?
    You are not required to report your arrival. Please be patient and attentive to the instructions by our staff, and arrive at the starting point of the track 10 minutes before your run starts.
  6. What’s the next step after you’ve finished the race and reached the finish line?
    Participants should leave the track as soon as possible after arriving at the finish line and will be directed to the gift redemption stations to pick up their finisher pin and gifts. Participants can also visit the booths set up in the venue and take photos with the decorations.
  7. When will I be able to receive the electronic Certificate of Completion?
    The electronic Certificate of Completion will be emailed to you within one month after the event ends.
  8. In case of any bad weather situations, may I know if there will be any special arrangements?
    If a red or black rainstorm signal, typhoon signal no.8 or above is hoisted by the Hong Kong Observatory 4 hours before the event, the event will be cancelled. In response to any unspecified adverse weather conditions or unpredictable circumstances, the organizer reserves the right to terminate the event. No refund or reschedule of the event will be made.
